How bad can backing into a sand bank be? You found out the hard way. In answer to your question about a replacement ladder..........If you are near a Camping World outlet, they have a "Universal Ladder" selling for $80 (Club Member price) and of course you pay extra for shipping and installation. If you are handy, you should be able to do the install yourself. Getting one that has the same hole line-up as the one you "bent" would be good --- not sure how much, if any, damage was done to the rear wall. Screws might have been torn out and done some damage to the fiberglass. You can Google RV Roof Ladder and you will find numerous hits of places where you can buy one.
