My wife and I just finished our first cross-country trip with our new 2019 Outback (11K miles and over 45 stops). This is our first TT (tent camped for the first 30 years together). What we realized is that the single AC unit really struggled in the heat of the south west. Our trailer is wired and prepped for a second AC unit in the bedroom with 50 amp service, but when I asked Camping World for a price to install a new unit, they said it would be about $2K which is way more than I figured. I am trying to get the make and model of what Keystone installs for the second AC unit so I can get some other estimates. The main AC is a Dometic unit. I have e-mailed Keystone but from my experiences so far I am doubtful that I will get a response. Would appreciate the assist.
