Sorry it has to be under these circumstances. How the warranty claim is written by the tech/dealer can have an effect on the factory authorizing/denying the claim.

I’m not on anybody’s “side” but I will say I’ve seen this before with other brands and the answer was, as long as the roof isn’t leaking there isn’t a problem. Cosmetics and functionality are different and the factories like to use that terminology.

It’s getting harder by the month to get stuff authorized and that’s across the board. Keep your cool, keep sending pictures and requests for repair. I truly wish you the best and hope you get this resolved in a satisfactory manner.
