Not trying to steal this thread, but one of the bucket list trips is to go to the NE and photograph the fall colors. We're headed to the Colorado San Juans this fall but would like info from you locals on when and where to be for the best photo opportunities next season. We like staying in Forest Service campgrounds or National or State/County Parks when possible. You all seem to know a bit about the area
