You will need to make a special adapter cord to convert from the generators 120/240 V output to a 30 amp RV standard plug as they are undoubtedly different and the RV plug would not fit in any event. It will work exactly the same as a 50 to 30amp; RV park adapter. In fact, that adapter would be a good place to start if you have an extra. Cut off the 50A plug and get the proper plug to fit the Generac. Wire the cord to one hot side, the neutral and the ground. Do not connect the other hot leg to anything.
