Don't know what kind of walk thru you did, but take the time now to operate and test everything. Light switches, appliances, hot water heater (winterize/dewinterize procedures - how is it set NOW - where is it - work on LP/electric), slides, seals, water pump (where is it), AC, furnace (do you know how the thermostat/control system works), all faucets have hot/cold - no reduced flow, low point/fresh water drains - where are they, holding tanks labeled correctly, just a few things that came to mind and there are more.

Also, look at your tires. What brand? What is the load range of the tire? The gvw of the trailer? Axle rating? Some things you need to know up front.

As for tips: buy an EMS before your first trip (seems either Progressive or Surge Guard brands - NOT the surge protector). I would highly recommend a TPMS system. Soooooo much better than running without one. Don't know what size trailer you bought but of over 5k gvw get a good wdh with 4 point sway control IMO.

Well, I was going to just make a little blurb, got a bit longer but could be much longer. Congrats on the new trailer and take some time to get to know and equip her.
