There wasn't enough room right next to the water connections. I had to move it to the left of all that. Then I was worried about the furnace exhaust, so I moved it even further left.

I used a 1/2" drill bit for the main hole. Some small bit for the screw holes. Put silicone in all the holes to seal it up good. Put some loctite on the connection so it would never come loose. Made damn sure what was behind it before I started drilling.

The kit came with a gasket, which worked really well. However, I need to go around the edge of the box with clear silicone (I only had white!) for peace of mind.
