With the outside fridge only electric, I do the same to the inside too, I turn all fridges at least 1 day or 2 ahead. After cool down, load the fridges so everything stays cooled down for the trip. Drove 4 hours once and it stayed to temp.
Did any of your outside kitchen come with the rear bumper grill?
