That appears to be an Optronics light fixture. If the factory did miss wiring that, the ends of the two wires would be still be stripped from the Optronics factory. Looking closely at an enlarged view, I can make out the marks of several cuts in the wire insulation, like gnawing teeth marks. I think they are right, you may have a visitor in the wall(s).
