Welcome: I do alot of dry camping in the desert. I always leave the truck hooked up. After we level out on stack of 2x6. And don't forget to unplug your disconnect from the truck if your drycamping. Don't want to run that battery down. I also like to put down the jacks to take some of the load off the truck. and of coarse the rear stabizers. And don't forget to chalk your tires. AS far as pulling goes make wide turns. Last year I took down the stop sighn at the end of the block.
