Nothing wrong with doing that.

One caveat though...I’ve found that if we are running the AC and the water heater on electric at the same time we’ll get close to the 30 Amp limit on our electrical system, so we typically don’t bother running the water heater on electric. It really doesn’t use much propane. Our two 30# tanks last the full season.
