Can't really measure miles in Alaska. Most of the highways are 2 lane There are sites we go to 20 miles away and 400 miles away, road travel is measured in hours. I really don't like any thing over 6 hours but up here it might take 6 hours or more to go 200 miles. We travel with dogs so it is up to them when they want to make a pit stop and it may not necessarily when we make ours. The nice thing about Alaska in the summer is that you don't really have to worry about it getting dark until August
