Have scratched my head on a way to help prevent hard bottoming of the rig. Present setup is a 2010, 3500 dodge diesel dually 4X4 crew cab with a C&M flatbed and b&w turnover ball companion hitch. Installed air lift bags to level out tv and rv. and help from bottoming out springs. air bag pressure around 35psi. The rig is a 2018 avalanche 320rs Rv with a factory installed trail saver roto-flex pin box (similar to the morRyde unit) the 320rs has pin weight of 2200lbs and rig weight approx. 13K dry.
The trailsaver w/ rotoflex does great for chucking but does not compensate for the rough road bounce. the excess pin weight is having a detrimental affect on the bedroom area knocking trim pieces off. knocking the slider doors off
