The "grill recall" is to replace the wooden framework where the grill is mounted for a metal framework. Apparently there was some risk of fire with the wooden frame.

I'd suspect that Keystone has a "hard line decision" against allowing owners to modify the grill mount or to change out the grill mount. If it isn't done properly, or if the parts are sent and the modification isn't completed, and if the governmental certifications that the risk was reduced are submitted and an owner elected to not modify the trailer, then sold it to an unsuspecting buyer...... There's just too much 'legal responsibility" for Keystone to just send the parts and hope it gets fixed....

That's no reflection on your ability to perform the tasks, no reflection on your desire to keep your trailer safe, but rather a reflection on "society in general" when it comes to "protecting against legal risks" from people who would take advantage... Whether you would or not, trust me when I say that someone, somewhere is looking to get rich any way they can......

It's not surprising that Ford, GM, Fiat/Chrysler, Toyota all will refuse to "send you a new airbag" to clear the Takata airbag recall.....
