We camped 3 nights in Palo Duro, last May, on our way to Junction Creek, outside of Durango CO.

While there we took a day trip over to Caprock Canyon SP and I have also heard the Copper Breaks SP is worth while, so we are planning camping at both places in the future.

Palo Duro has quite a bit to do, hiking, bike riding, horseback riding and they have camp sites with water and electric. The dump station was just outside the entrance to the loop we were in. The Texas Outdoor Musical is quite something to see

We camped at Preston Bend COE, on lake Texoma, which has been completely remodeled and also has water and electric sites, with the dump station close by.

This spring we are planning another trip out to the Big Bend area and Davis Mountains SP.
