Corps of Engineer camps vary in services available. Some have electric and water hookups, some have hand pumps and outhouses. We've stayed at several unmanned, self service campsites. We stayed at a couple in unmanned sites in Minnesota last year, in the first there were 2 tents and our camper, the second had 4 tents, and two campers. Unmanned sites are usually very quiet, but be prepared to use the outhouse unless you want to tow your unit to an off site dump station. There is a Corp of Engineer campsite at Cross Lake MN that has water, electric and a dump site, they typically have a waiting list for summer camping. People usually have to reserve a site a couple months in advance. I prefer the unmanned sites; just drive in, find a site you like, park, and walk to the registration station, fill out the camping permit and leave your payment in the envelope.
