We had a few days just at freezing last week so I just winterized today. No one local had any antifreeze in stock, so I had to drive 30 miles to the nearest Walmart Supercenter, and was surprised to find a name brand, Sta-Bil -75 F at less than $3/gallon. Last year I paid $5 for an unknown brand of -50 pink stuff. It worked fine, but we neve got below 20F last winter. That 1/4” lowpoint drain takes forever, I learned that it’s much faster to use the pump and drain using faucets until empty, but even the the lowpoint took another 20 minutes.
