2017 F250 from 2013 F150

The New Super Duty is a tall truck especially at the hitch from the ground up it was two inches taller than the F150 so my e4 shank was going to be short and the F 150 required a 2 inch shank and of course the F250 a 2 1/2. To level the trailer I had a curt 6 inch drop shank in the shed and used a sleeve to tow it to my brother`s parking lot. Pulling it I could feel the shank moving in the receiver, I noticed after removing the hitch the sleeve already had a slight mark on it from the movement from the shank. Yes I could weld it or even shim it, but what the heck. I just cut out all the maybe`s and could do`s and just order the correct shank and drop. A little play is ok but I think this was just to much for something close to 6800lbs. So if you move up just some things I have come across. Yes the 2017 is taller at the rear than a 2011 F250 son in law has one of those.
