My humble opinion, but mounting a dish on the roof limits where you can park and receive satellite tv. Not a great idea in our case as we do camp where there are trees that are intended to shade the 5ver in the summer. Better to use a dish that can sit on a tripod away from the camper where there is a view of the southern sky.
