I have a cheaper drone, that the kids gave me for my birthday a few years ago and I gave up on it after a few flights... you really have to "fly" it... the mavic just about flies itself, has a advertised range of 4 miles and a huge list of features comparable to the Phantom, I think I heard it has 14 or so processor cores in it.
My son will be 33 in a few weeks.

Whew....I was afraid you were going to say he was like 8 or 9 years old. That would be embarrassing to be aced out by a kid.
