I don't know how close you are to the dealer but I would insist that they do a thorough inspection with you. Sounds like you need to take it back for the awning button anyway. Make them take you through it and go through everything. If you can arrange that post back here and there are lots of posts plus a PDI checklist you could take back with you so that you can cover everything and get more familiar with the workings of your trailer.
