I also discovered they have a kit to make the LNB arm foldable. That will make carrying the dish much easier!

I saw a guy with a tripod very similar to that. He had 2 milk jugs full of water hanging from the center of his for added stability, which I thought was a neat idea.
Just food for thought.
My tripod legs are not adjustable so I need fairly level ground.
I also use 7 inch spikes to "pin" it down.
