Not trying to get into an argument, but I really don't see how it has anything to do with the hitch. Mine split while I was using a B&W hitch with an Air Ride pin box. The flaw is in the Lippert frame that flexes too much in that area allowing the sidewall to come apart. The issue is not with just one manufacturer, but across the board with the Lippert frames. We were able to fix mine ourselves, but I have a full bodyshop and welders at my disposal.
