Don't know if that is a misprint and meant ft., however, if you have that trailer get a slider or a long bed truck. As a "newbie", I purchased that trailer. (I really like the 298). I went to the local hitch dealer, with whom I'd dealt numerous times. The tech said "I've been doing this 17 years and I've never seen anyone need a slider with your truck." It's a 2007 2500 Ram short bed. I've pulled boats and trailers at least 125,000 or more miles over the years. The first time I backed the trailer into a spot, tapped the cab. Put on a slider and have 100% more control in tight situations. There will be a time when you need to basically cut a 90degree angle. Get a slider and don't worry.
