The San Diego KOA is a great place to stay when visiting San Diego. I have stayed there 4-5 times and enjoyed it each time. Easy to get to from the freeway, shopping for groceries is close and it is not far from the major attractions. Many people like Campland at the Bay but it is a pricey private park that is very busy, especially with kids. I much prefer the KOA.
