I had the advantage with DW in that our grandkids were 1000mi to the south. This worked for both of us as I don't like the snow and cold of upstate NY and she wanted to see the grands. Now we spend the winter in the south. My problem has been that I always want reservations in place before I leave the driveway. Working on that one now.
