i have a 2015 Cougar 336BHS and did the same thing. I snaked wire from the bathroom vent which has constant 12 volts for the fan to the vent above my kitchen sink. I used a fan-tastic fan with the remote. Works great!
The only wiring i had found up there was switched 12 volt power for the ceiling lights. You would think that Keystone would prewire the ceilings with a constant feed.
