We had a similar overhead cabinet in our Cougar. I borrowed an idea from another forum member and constructed a wall that divided the cabinet into two sections. Then added shelves on the living room side and a shelf with a spice rack on the kitchen side. Stained everything to a close as possible match. Our cabinet came with an almost useless Lazy Susan that we removed to make room for the dividing wall. If you search the forum you'll find the thread, complete with pictures.

added on edit: May not have posted the above mentioned mod. Of all the things I've lost...I miss my mind the most). I will try to add some photos.
