I got stopped a couple of weeks ago for speeding coming into a small town (5 over). The city officer was sitting under a bridge right at the city limit sign and reading me back on the highway before I got into the town. I went ahead and pulled over, gave him my license and CC permit. He asked if I was armed and where. I told him yes and on my right hip. He asked that I not make movements to that area and I told him that is where my wallet is and he nodded. Came back in a few minutes and gave me a warning and told me "thanks for exercising your constitutional right to carry a weapon"; I reciprocated and told him I appreciated what he did for all of us and we bid each other a good day.

I have been stopped a couple times. They usually ask me to put both hands on the wheel and ask how many firearms are in my possession. I tell them and ask if they want to look at them and no LEO has ever taken me up on it.
