I cover our Cougar for 6 months during our winter. IMHO the cover is a reasonable cost alternative to covered storage. Just the idea of 6 months that the sun/UV rays are not deteriorating the roof and vinyl decals let alone the finish on the side panels and front cap makes me believe it's a good idea. To each his own, but I say some protection is better than none for extended storage.
