I live in Texas and the sun is brutal on RV's parked in the open. The seams on the roof dry and crack and start to leak, the finish fades and the tires dry rot. Those RV covers are a pain and the sun gets to them also. Covered storage out of the sun is the only answer in my opinion to keep your new toy looking good and not deteriorating prematurely.
