I cut slightly oversized pieces of alum screen to fit the refrigerator covers and the water heater cover. Nothing fancy and they remain in place when the covers are put back on. Also put a plastic plumbing cap on the generator exhaust (added a self tapping screw to hold it in place) and blue tape on the water tank vent. All to keep wasps out when parked at home. Easy peasy and effective.
