Yes. The extra red wire is for the LP flow solenoid found at the tank on older motorhomes. Put both the reds and the white/orange together.

Not all RV makers seal the entire flange surface. Some do just the top and sides, allowing any water that is leaking to escape and not puddle/flood the interior...At least that's my take on it...

Fifth wheels tow a whole lot better than bumper pulls. More stable, less chance of sway. Once you practice backing a couple of times, I found it easier to back than a bumper pull.
