Dealer repair on my old trailer

This is how the dealer repaired the hole I put in my last trailer, they did just a strip of the aluminum diamond plate but if it was thin enough you could cover the entire door.

You could also see if there is a metal supply shop around and get a piece of thin aluminum diamond plate and fasten that to the door with screws.
