Greetings, Campers.

On this model, the trim piece on the driver side is attached to the slide out room. Since the 24 RLS has the small slide, a portion of the trim hangs unsupported. Mine just...

Thanks, Fellow Campers

Our adventure in "wilderness camping" is likely to begin as a long weekend at a NASCAR race. I'd rather not spend $100's for the campsite, and it looks like a three-nighter should be no sweat.

Camping without Shore Power

We have a 2012 Cougar 24RLS, and we're considering visiting some sites that do not have shore power. Being a safety guy, I always expect the worst. So what happens when the battery runs down....

It's actually the second trip in the brand new TT. First trip was 50 miles or so, just a "break-in quickie."

I'm suspecting the one drum is set a little tighter. It didn't seem to be getting hot...

Jack Stabilizers

Greetings, Campers!

We've set up the Cougar on its second outing. It seems quite stable side to side, but rocks a little from front to rear. Does anyone have any suggestions to reduce the sway?...

Trailer Brakes

We are now 4 hours from home, camping for the weekend. At a gas stop, I checked all 4 trailer wheels for heat (quick bare hand on the rim.) One was noticeably warmer than the other three. Also...

First Trip with the Cougar 24 RLS

We finally had a chance to make a short camping trip to christen the new Cougar. I admit up front that we love the new camper. The added space and storage are very convenient, and everything worked...

We just purchased a new 24RLS TT. It has a really neat nose cap that aerodynamically covers the battery and gas bottles. Looks great. When we brought it home from the dealer, we discovered we had...

Hello, Everyone.

Sue and I just purchased a Cougar Travel Trailer, the 24 RLS. It's a definite step up for us, from a smaller Dutchmen Spirit of America. Our TV is a 2010 Toyota Tundra. We're...
