I tow my 2011 sab with a 2010 maxtow lariat f150, 3.73 rear, 6.5 box., 7756 gvwr.
I weigh everything and the fiver dry states 6920 and mine is 6922!!!!

I keep the box empty...

Where did you heat that if purchased in the US that you could not get it serviced in Alberta? I bought a Cougar fiver in Michigan and had it shipped to Alberta and picked up in Dec.

I have the Curt 16 k with slider also. Although heavy, guessing around 200 pounds, it is a quality product. I also use the teflon disc. I like the tube style of slide it has. Mine is an E5.

The brakes on the truck are also massive.I believe 13.75 or 13.8??? I used the tow/haul mode when towing my TT through the rockies and the downshift with braking was great....

I have a 2010 f150 lariat with the max tow and 7700 gvrw package. It has LT tires and a payload of 1500 after the options are subtracted. Tow rating is 11100 lbs.
