The switch is just for the monitor gauge, does not actually switch tanks. Probably as others have stated, one panel fits all. My Carbon does have 2 black and 2 grey tanks.

Got the same setup as DiverB...with the top bed...

Got the same setup as DiverB...with the top bed down it is very hard to see the TV...but great for the kids if they are on the top bunk. My 11 year old loves it up there to watch movies and play...

That is how my unit is setup. Zone 1 has no external sensor and uses the thermostat, Zone 2 (bedroom) has an external sensor mounted up high on the wall by the door.
