If your fuse is good you could have a bad battery. When you are plugged in 120 volt your monitor will show the output of the converter and this will show full charge.

If you are hooking one splitter into the other this is more than likely your problem. The output from a 3db splitter is cut in half. So after two splitters your down to 1/4 signal.

What do ou mean by hot and cold? How are you testing them? Are you measuring them with a volt meter or you using a hot stick? You can get a reading on both legs to ground if something is plugged...
