Be sure to closely check the leaf spring hangers...

Be sure to closely check the leaf spring hangers for missing bolts, broken pieces and broken welds where the pieces attach to the frame. Make sure the u-bolts are tight and in good condition.

I worked on one that had the pyramid. I bought a bottle of the best stuff the rv store had and dumped the whole thing in and topped off with water. Let it sit about a week, drained it good as new.

The only thing I have messed up was forgetting to turn the shut off valves to the water heater back on to normal. It doesn't take long to burn out an element.

In the same box you have separate fuses for left and right turn as well as trailer back up lights. Make sure you also have the 40 amp maxifuse installed to charge the trailer battery.

Your Silverado has a separate fuse for the trailer taillights. It is located in the underhood fuse box on the drivers side. It is labeled "TRL PRK" and is 15 amp.

I second the correct voltage on both lines. I found out on my Laredo, 50 amp, that both A/C units were on the same line. I fixed that by moving a couple of breakers.
