I use the best of both worlds, an aluminum roller that acts like a hard top when spread but does not block the back window so I can see the hook up when rolled up.

On my Cougar the Black tank flush was not fully connected and leaked on the corplast next to the tank before finally leaking around my low point drains.
Warranty repaired by dealer.
