Paraptor, not quite right. There are 2 battery shut offs, 1 for the coach battery and one for the inverter battery. Like you stated, the inverter powers the fridge only and the other battery...

yep 2 separate battery systems, 1 dedicated to the inverter. This is my 3rd camper and I am familiar with the the indicator etc. it's just that this battery seems isolated from the rest of the system...

I did a search and didn't find an actual answer to my specific question as to " what is the position of on/off switch for proper recharging". Most inverter questions are pertaining to turning it on...

New to having a residential refrigerator with inverter. if I am hooked up to shore power when is the battery charging? when the rotary on/off switch is on?
