You don't have to "break the seal" on the vent to install the Heng's Vortex 1 or 2 upgrade. They install from inside your existing vent.

Our TT has an iRV6500BT DVD, it has a second set of RCA AV outputs on the back. I hooked up out bedroom TV into that and it will play audio through that TV's speakers also.
