They don't trap water. I changed them from one RV to another a couple years back and no rust. I did spray the plate before installing with a good Teflon lubricant.

Great discusion

When using my EMS system this is what I do. Breaker off, plug EMS in pedestal, turn breaker on, let it go through it's cycle, plug 50A cord in EMS, make sure it's still reading good then plug in RV....

We actually did that. Fit the board to the mattress. Works great. You can now change sheets without crawling on the mattress.

I solved my problem. It was an overlay backup issue with Norton Virus Protector. Called Norton and they walked me through it, bingo it was fixed. Thanks.
