If you haven't destroyed your batteries by now you have shortened their lifespan. The batteries and converter are an integral part of the 12v system that supports many of the systems in the trailer....

This all should have been addressed at the dealership when you did your PDI. They should have had your RV plugged in to power and electric and demonstrated to you how to operate all water valves....

My rig has no problem going up or down Raton pass. Going up I pick a gear that will hold a good pull at 3200 rpm. Going down is just a matter of holding the speed down with brakes and gearing.
