Yes, you can add shocks to the axles with the CRE system. The shock mounts attach to the axle/spring support (where the spring and axle meet) and to the trailer frame rail, not to the spring hangers...

Try loading the front of the fifth wheel heavier....

Try loading the front of the fifth wheel heavier. I'd suspect that you're on the light end right now and that's contributing to the chucking. The heavier you get it (I try to be about 22% if I can).
