Yep, noticed that as well, but its just a piece of cellophane type thin clear sheet behind the fins and behind the plastic body of the frig that is over the foam insulation. It doesn't look like it...

Attached is a picture of the fins in our 3160RL with the PolarMax18 frig. Looks pretty much the same as your pic. We haven't noticed any water problems like you described. Please let us know what...
