Steve, I haven't seen a post of anyone taking a door apart. You could just plate it at the interior... I think they're rated for 2k loading. Not sure...

I think the Raptors are washer/dryer provisioned. If you don't have the washer/dryer installed, you could put a 10k unit in that spot and vent it out the dryer vent... This keeps all the wiring...
