Piliot light goes out. Gas smell

When I'm cooking on my Atwood Wedgewood Vision gas stove the pilot sometimes goes out and I smell gas. I looked at the manual, but alas, no help there. Maybe someone here can help me figure out why...

I have an Atwood Wedgewood vision oven. When using it the tube that lights from the pilot will go would after so long. The pilot remains on though. Is there a thermostat in the oven that turns it on...
