Ok my bad ...the recall is for the Fuzion rear...

Ok my bad ...the recall is for the Fuzion rear tailgate hinges not the hinged entry step and a fairly easy fix once the dealer received the parts

The bulletin suggests welds cracking...I've also seen a few post about pop rivets shearing..I contacted MORryde about me removing the step and taking it to the dealer for inspection but because of it...

Has anyone had this MORryde safety recall performed on their steps. I'm interested in what the issue is and the fix. I would rather not take it in to the dealer
