Valterra is easier to replace, they just spin onto a threaded rod. Bristol have a small screw that holds them on.

If you have seams, with a sharp razor you can open up the floor, secure the screw with thread lock and then use an adhesive to glue the floor back down.

Stand alone converters are often times within 3 feet of the breaker panel, Ive seen them plugged into anoutlet on the rear of the panel and I have seen them plugged into an outlet somewhere else.
